Lauren June
This Friday will be one year since Lauren June Girten passed away. It seems like yesterday, but time flies by fast. Her birthday was just last month, she would have been eighteen. This week is hard for many and I hope everyone takes into consideration how short life can be. Lauren is missed everyday, and is loved by many.
Sweet 16
Kentucky played against West Virgina on Saturday to advance to the Sweet 16. They defeated them 71 to 63, the game was close up until the last minute. They will play Ohio State this week on either Thursday or Friday. Ohio State played George Mason to see who advanced and Ohio State ended up killing George Mason. Ohio State is favored to win against Kentucky.
Rupp bound
The boys team advanced to the first round of state. They played at Rupp arena on Thursday against Royan County. They were favored to win but their shots didn't fall and Royan's did resulting in us to lose. Royan advanced and ended up playing the championship game against Christian County. Our team had a great season and were one of the only three teams in history at Daviess County to go to state.

Superbowl disappointment
As the world knows the Superbowl was played Sunday night. My family is a fan of the Miami Dolphins but because they are terrible this year. They were not an option in the Superbowl. Therefore because of me not agreeing with the way Green Bay did Brett Favre I chose the Steelers. Upsettingly they lost

Movie Theatre
On Friday night I took a group of people to the movies to watch No Strings Attached rated R. Only two of us were of the age so the others bought a ticket to another movie being played at the same time. As we bought are tickets and went to enter the theatre there were a few police standing there. As I and some following walked past they nodded there head as I began to enter I heard him stop the little ones behind. For some reason some began to ignore and run in as if they were going to get away. Not to long after we were escorted to the front.
